Important Notice
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the TAAU mobile application ("App") operated by Codesunicorn ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing, downloading, installing, or using the App, you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Definitions
In these Terms:
- "App" means the TAAU mobile application, including all features, services, and content provided through it.
- "Company" means Codesunicorn, a company registered in Haryana, India.
- "Content" means any text, images, data, reviews, posts, comments, timetables, business listings, offers, or other material submitted, uploaded, or displayed on the App.
- "Tokens" means the virtual credits used within the App as described in Section 5.
- "User" means any individual who accesses or uses the App.
- "User-Generated Content" means Content created, submitted, or uploaded by Users.
- "Merchant" means a User who subscribes to a merchant subscription plan to list business services on the App.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using the App, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
- You have read and understood these Terms, including our Privacy Policy and Legal Disclaimer.
- You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
3. Service Description
TAAU is a local services and transportation companion app that provides the following features:
- Transportation Information: Bus and metro timetable data submitted by users. This information may not be current and should be verified independently.
- Local Service Provider Listings: Business listings and shop offers submitted by users and merchants, including service booking functionality.
- Community and Social Features: Posts, comments, likes, shares, and other community interaction features.
- Online Marketplace: Courses, deals, and other offerings from third-party providers.
- Utility Tools: Bank IFSC code lookup, metal price indicators, electricity bill calculators, and similar reference tools.
- Emergency Services Directory: A supplementary directory of ambulance services and helpline numbers. This is not a replacement for calling official emergency numbers (112, 100, 101, 102).
- Job Listings: Employment opportunities and job application features.
- Token-Based Reward System: Virtual credits for accessing certain app features, as described in Section 5.
- Merchant Subscription Plans: Enhanced business listing features for merchants, as described in Section 6.
- Advertisements: Custom advertisements and sponsored listings displayed within the App, clearly labeled as advertisements.
Intermediary Notice: TAAU is an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000. We host User-Generated Content but do not create it. We exercise due diligence in content moderation as described in these Terms, but we are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or reliability of User-Generated Content.
4. User Accounts and Eligibility
4.1 Account Creation
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Update your information to keep it accurate and current.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials.
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4.2 Account Restrictions
Each User may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts for the purpose of manipulating ratings, reviews, token balances, or any other app feature is prohibited.
4.3 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use this App. The App is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age.
5. Token System
5.1 Nature of Tokens
Tokens are virtual credits used within the App to access certain features. Please understand the following:
- Tokens are virtual credits for in-app features only.
- Tokens have no real monetary value, are not legal tender, and are not currency of any kind.
- Tokens are not cryptocurrency, not investment instruments, and do not represent ownership, equity, or financial instruments of any kind.
- Tokens cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to other users, or converted to any real-world currency.
5.2 Earning and Purchasing Tokens
Tokens may be obtained through:
- App Usage: Earning tokens by watching advertisements, contributing content, or other in-app activities as determined by the Company from time to time.
- Purchase: Buying tokens through in-app purchase options, where available.
5.3 Token Usage
Tokens can be used to access certain features within the App as indicated within the App interface. The features accessible using tokens, and the number of tokens required, may change from time to time.
5.4 Token Policies
- Non-Refundable: Tokens are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
- Expiry: Token balances may expire if your account is inactive for 12 or more consecutive months. You will be notified via the App or email before any expiry takes effect.
- Rate Changes: The Company reserves the right to modify token earning rates and redemption rates. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice through the App or email.
- No Transfer: Tokens cannot be sold, traded, gifted, or transferred to another user account.
5.5 Token Forfeiture
Unused tokens will be forfeited upon account termination or deletion, whether initiated by you or by the Company in accordance with these Terms.
6. Merchant Subscription Plans
6.1 Subscription Features
Merchants may subscribe to paid plans that offer enhanced business listing features on the App. Subscription plan details, including pricing, duration, and included features, are clearly disclosed at the time of purchase within the App.
6.2 Payment
Merchant subscription payments are made via cash or UPI on delivery, verified by the Company's admin team. All applicable charges are disclosed upfront before purchase confirmation. There are no hidden charges or drip pricing.
6.3 Subscription Period and Renewal
- Each subscription is for a fixed period as disclosed at the time of purchase.
- Subscriptions do not auto-renew. The Company will not charge you for renewal without your explicit consent.
- Merchants will be notified before their subscription period ends.
6.4 Cancellation
- Merchants may cancel their subscription at any time by contacting support.
- Upon cancellation, access to subscription features will continue until the end of the current paid period.
- No partial refund is provided for unused portions of the subscription period, except as required by applicable law.
7. User-Generated Content
7.1 Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the Content you submit to the App. By submitting Content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and use your Content within the App and for App-related purposes.
7.2 Your Responsibilities
When you submit Content to the App, you represent and warrant that:
- You have the right to submit the Content and it does not violate any third-party rights.
- The Content is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- The Content complies with all applicable laws and these Terms.
- You have obtained necessary consents before submitting personal information of any third party (such as service provider details).
7.3 Content Moderation and AI-Assisted Review
We use a combination of AI-assisted tools and human review to moderate User-Generated Content. Specifically:
- AI moderation: Text content you submit (titles, descriptions, shop names, service listings, job posts, etc.) may be analyzed by third-party AI services, including but not limited to Anthropic, OpenAI, Perplexity, etc., to check for compliance with our content rules.
- Data shared with AI: Only text content is shared. Images, videos, and media files are never sent to AI services. Personally identifiable information (email addresses, phone numbers, URLs) is automatically redacted before content is sent for AI analysis.
- AI as assistive only: AI moderation provides recommendations only. All final decisions regarding content approval, rejection, or removal are made by human administrators.
- Third-party terms: Your content, when shared with AI providers, is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We select providers that confirm API-submitted content is not used for AI model training.
We reserve the right to:
- Review, approve, or reject submitted Content before publication.
- Remove Content that violates these Terms, community guidelines, or applicable law.
- Take action against accounts that repeatedly submit violating Content.
7.4 Reporting Content
You can report Content that you believe violates these Terms by using the in-app reporting feature or by contacting our Grievance Officer as specified in Section 13.
8. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:
- Fake Accounts: Creating accounts using false identity or impersonating another person or entity.
- Illegal Content: Posting, uploading, or sharing Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Harassment: Engaging in harassment, bullying, stalking, or intimidation of other users.
- Spam: Submitting repetitive, unsolicited, or promotional Content without authorization.
- Manipulation: Manipulating ratings, reviews, listings, or any other app feature through artificial means.
- Unauthorized Data Collection: Collecting or storing personal data of other users without their consent.
- Impersonation: Misrepresenting your identity, affiliation, or credentials.
- Intellectual Property Violations: Infringing upon copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights.
- System Interference: Using automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the App in an unauthorized manner.
- Token Manipulation: Attempting to manipulate, exploit, or circumvent the token system.
9. Content Rules and Prohibited Content
In compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, Users must not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update, or share any Content that belongs to any of the following categories:
- Content that is objectionable on grounds of sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of the State, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order.
- Content that threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India.
- Content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy, or insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, race, religion, caste, community, or nationality.
- Content that is harmful to children or minors.
- Content that infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other proprietary right.
- Content that violates any law for the time being in force.
- Content that deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of the message or knowingly and intentionally communicates false or misleading information.
- Content that contains material that is patently false, misleading, or unverified, and could cause disruption or panic.
- Content that impersonates another person or entity.
- Content that threatens or encourages violence, terrorism, or other unlawful activities.
- Content that contains software viruses or any other computer code designed to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of any system.
We will remove or disable access to Content that falls into the above categories within 36 hours of receiving a court order or a notice from the appropriate government agency, in accordance with Rule 3 of the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021.
10. Advertisements
10.1 Ad Disclosure
The App displays advertisements. All custom advertisements and sponsored listings are clearly labeled as "Ad" or "Sponsored" so that users can distinguish them from organic content.
10.2 Ad Personalization
The App uses Google AdMob for ad serving. Ads may be personalized based on your device advertising ID. You can reset your device advertising ID or limit ad personalization through your device settings at any time.
10.3 Third-Party Ad Content
Advertisements are provided by third-party advertising networks and merchants. We are not responsible for the products, services, or claims made in third-party advertisements. Users should exercise their own judgment before engaging with advertised products or services.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1 Company Rights
The App, its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Codesunicorn and are protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.
11.2 User Rights
You retain ownership of the Content you submit. You grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your Content within the App and for App-related purposes as described in Section 7.1.
11.3 Restrictions
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or exploit any Content from the App without the prior written consent of the Company or the respective Content owner.
12. Disclaimers
12.1 Service Quality
The App is provided with reasonable care and skill. However, you acknowledge that:
- The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the App.
- We exercise due diligence in maintaining the App, but no system is entirely free from defects or errors.
12.2 Transportation Information
Bus and metro timetable information is submitted by users and may be outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate. Please verify transportation schedules independently before making travel plans. We are not liable for missed connections, delays, or travel-related losses arising from reliance on App data.
12.3 Third-Party Services
The App lists service providers, shops, and businesses that are operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, pricing, or availability of goods and services offered by third-party providers. Disputes with third-party providers should be resolved directly with the provider, though you may also use the App's dispute features where available.
12.4 Emergency Services Directory
The emergency services directory is provided as a supplementary reference only. It is not a replacement for official emergency services. Always call 112 (national emergency), 100 (police), 101 (fire), or 102 (ambulance) for actual emergencies. We are not liable for any delay or failure in emergency response resulting from reliance on App data.
12.5 Metal Prices
Metal price information is indicative and provided for reference only. It does not constitute real-time trading data and should not be relied upon for investment or commercial decisions.
12.6 Bank and IFSC Data
Bank branch details and IFSC codes are compiled from publicly available sources and may be outdated. Please verify all financial information independently before conducting any transactions.
13. Grievance Officer
In compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, we have appointed a Grievance Officer to address complaints regarding Content on the App.

- Resolution: Grievances will be resolved within 15 calendar days of receipt.
To file a complaint, please email the Grievance Officer with the following details:
- Your name and contact information.
- A clear description of the grievance.
- The specific Content or feature at issue (including URL or screenshot where possible).
- The relief or resolution you are seeking.
14. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Key points include:
- We collect and process your personal data only for lawful purposes with your consent or as permitted by law.
- You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data.
- We implement reasonable security safeguards to protect your data.
- We will notify you of any data breach affecting your personal data in accordance with the DPDP Act.
15. Limitation of Liability
15.1 Liability Cap
To the extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to the Company for paid features in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
15.2 Exclusions
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law, including liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Breach of statutory duties that cannot be contractually limited.
15.3 Indirect Damages
To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the App.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Codesunicorn, its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App in violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Content you submit that infringes upon the rights of any third party.
- Your submission of personal data of third parties without their consent.
17. Termination
17.1 Termination by the Company
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App:
- For Cause: If you violate these Terms, with reasonable notice (minimum 7 days) to allow you to remedy the violation where possible, except in cases involving illegal activity, harm to other users, or security threats, where we may take immediate action.
- Without Cause: With 30 days' written notice via email or App notification.
17.2 Termination by You
You may stop using the App at any time. You may request account deletion through the App settings.
17.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination or account deletion:
- Your access to the App will cease.
- Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the DPDP Act.
- Unused tokens will be forfeited.
- Any active merchant subscriptions will continue until the end of the current paid period.
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including Sections 5, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, and 20.

In compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we provide the following disclosures:

- There are no hidden charges or drip pricing. Any applicable fees are disclosed before you confirm a transaction.
18.3 Token System Disclosure
As required under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020:
- Tokens are virtual credits for in-app features only and have no real monetary value.
- Tokens are not legal tender, not cryptocurrency, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Tokens are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
18.4 Subscription Cancellation Policy
Merchant subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Access continues until the end of the current paid period. No auto-renewal occurs without your explicit consent.
19. Dispute Resolution
19.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
19.2 Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Haryana, India.
19.3 Resolution Process
Before pursuing legal proceedings, we encourage the following resolution steps:
- Support Contact: Contact our support team at codesunicorn@gmail.com to attempt to resolve the issue informally.
- Mediation: If the issue remains unresolved after 30 days, either party may propose mediation through a mutually agreed mediator.
19.4 Consumer Disputes
Nothing in these Terms prevents you from filing a complaint with a consumer disputes redressal forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, where applicable.
20. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes:
- We will notify you through the App or via email before the changes take effect.
- The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
- You will have the opportunity to review the changes before they take effect.
- Continued use of the App after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
- If you do not agree with the changes, you may stop using the App and request account deletion.
21. General Provisions
21.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Legal Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding your use of the App.
21.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
21.3 Waiver
Any failure by the Company to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
21.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
21.5 Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, wars, pandemics, internet outages, or other force majeure events.
